How do you even eat this?

Review of item bought from Family Mart, SamYang Hot Chicken Flavor Ramen Snack (RM10.90 for pack of four).

The serving suggestion for this on the packaging shows noodles that do not look cooked. Are they to be eaten without boiling? The labelling also says it is "HOT". How hot is it? Is this thing even supposed to be eaten, you might wonder after seeing YouTube videos of instant noodles being used to repair furniture with superglue.

The packet comes with the noodles and seasoning. Spreading the seasoning on evenly is not that simple and is a bit messy. You probably want to Salt Bae the powder, rather than bring out a sifter.

Conclusion

2.5 out of 5.0. A bit spicy but not very spicy. Compared to Mamee (often eaten without boiling, like a biscuit) it has a more raw taste. Worth trying once.
